Islam makes about 86% of total population and about 13% people follow
Hinduism, 1% follow other religion like Buddhist, Jain, Sikh and
Christianity. There are 5000 mosque in that region. Shiv Temple at
Puthia is the most famous temple not only in Rajshahi but also all over
the world.
