সোনালী ডেস্ক: রাজশাহীর পুঠিয়া, নওগাঁর ধামইরহাট ও পাবনার চাটমোহরে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় ৩ শিশু নিহত হয়েছে। ধামইরহাটে উত্তেজিত জনতা ঘাতক ট্রাক পুড়িয়ে দিয়েছে।
পুঠিয়া প্রতিনিধি জানান, রাজশাহীর পুঠিয়া-তাহেরপুর সড়কের বাঁশবাড়ীয়া ছাতনীতলা নামক স’ানে শনিবার সকালে সাড়ে নয়টায় ইটবোঝাই ট্রলির চাপায় স্কুলগামী এক ছাত্র নিহত হয়। সে বাঁশবাড়ীয়া আদিবাসী পাড়ার রবি মাড্ডির ছেলে সাকিব মাড্ডি (১৪)। সাকিব মাড্ডি পুঠিয়া উপজেলার ধোকড়াকুল হাইস্কুলের অষ্টম শ্রেণির ছাত্র। প্রত্যৰদর্শী ও পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গেছে, স্কুলে যাবার পথে ছাত্র সাবিক মাড্ডি অকুস’লে পেঁৗঁছলে পেছন থেকে ইট বোঝাই ট্রলি এসে তাকে চাপা দিলে ঘটনাস’লেই তার মৃত্যু হয়। খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ লাশ উদ্ধার করে থানায় নিয়ে আসে। খবর লেখা পর্যনৱ মামলার প্রস’তি চলছিল। ঘাতক ট্রলি চালক পলাতক রয়েছে।
নওগাঁ/ধামইরহাট প্রতিনিধি জানান, নওগাঁর ধামইরহাটে পঞ্চগড় থেকে ছেড়ে আসা বালুবোঝাই ট্রাকের চাকায় পিষ্ট হয়ে ইয়াছির আরাফাত স্বাধীন (১১) নামের ৬ষ্ঠ শ্রেণির এক স্কুলছাত্র নিহত হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় উত্তেজিত জনতা দু’টি ট্রাকে আগুন দিয়ে পুড়িয়ে দিয়েছে। এসময় পুলিশ ও জনতার সংঘর্ষে একজন পুলিশসহ আহত হয়েছে ৩ জন। শনিবার সকাল ৯টায় দিকে উপজেলার ফার্সিপাড়া গ্রামের পান ব্যবসায়ী ইয়াছিন আলী টুকুর একমাত্র সনৱান স’ানীয় চকময়রাম মডেল উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের ৬ষ্ঠ শ্রেণির ছাত্র ইয়াছির আরাফাত স্বাধীন ওই বিদ্যালয়ে সাইকেলেযোগে জনৈক শিৰকের কাছে প্রাইভেট পড়ে বাসায় ফিরছিল। পথে চকময়রাম আম বাগানের নিকটে ধামইরহাট-জয়পুরহাট আঞ্চলিক মহাসড়কে একই দিকে অগ্রসরমান দুটি ট্রাক সাইড দিতে গিয়ে রাসৱার পার্শ্বে রাখা বালুর উপর সাইকেল ওঠাতে গিয়ে পিছলে রাসৱার উপর পড়লে তাৎৰনিক দুটি ট্রাক পর্যায়ক্রমে স্বাধীনকে চাপা দেয়। এতে ঘটনাস’লেই শিশু স্বাধীনের মর্মানিৱক মৃত্যু ঘটে। এ খবর ছড়িলে পড়লে উত্তেজিত জনতা ট্রাক দুটিতে আগুন লাগিয়ে পুড়িয়ে দেয়।  খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ ঘটনাস’লে পৌঁছলে পুলিশের সাথে উত্তেজিত জনতার সংঘর্ষ বাধে। সংঘর্ষে এনৱাজ আলী নামের এক পুলিশ সদস্য ও কয়েকজন স’ানীয় ব্যক্তি আহত হয়। ধামইরহাট থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ শিকদার মশিউর রহমান বলেন, পুলিশ জনতার সংঘর্ষে এনৱাজ আলী নামের এক পুলিশ সদস্য আহত হয়েছে। ট্রাক দুটির চালক ও চালকের সহকারিরা পালিয়ে গেছে। শেষ খবর পাওয়া পর্যনৱ থানায় একটি মামলা দায়েরের প্রস’তি চলছিল। এদিকে শিৰার্থী স্বাধীনের মৃত্যুতে এলাকায় শোকের ছায়া নেমে আসে। বিকেলে স্বাধীনের মরদেহ তার নিজ গ্রাম ফার্সিপাড়ায় দাফন করা হয়।
চাটমোহর (পাবনা) প্রতিনিধি জানান, পাবনার চাটমোহর উপজেলার মূলগ্রাম ব্রিজ সংলগ্ন এলাকায় স্কুলে যাওয়ার মুহূর্তে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় সায়মা (৫) নামের এক স্কুলছাত্রী নিহত হয়েছে। শনিবার বেলা সাড়ে ১১ টায় এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। নিহত সায়মা মূলগ্রাম নেউতিগাছা সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের ১ম শ্রেণির ছাত্রী ও ইউনিয়ন আওয়ামীলীগের সাধারন সম্পাদক সাহেব আলি মাষ্টারের ছোট মেয়ে। স’ানীয় সূত্রে জানা গেছে, প্রতিদিনের মত শনিবার সকালে সায়মার স্কুল শিৰিকার সাথে স্কুলে যাওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে বাসা থেকে বের হয়। পথে পাবনা-চাটমোহর মহাসড়কের রাসৱা পারাপার হওয়ার সময় দৌড়ে রাসৱা পার হওয়ার মুর্হর্তে দ্রম্নতগামী সিএনজির নিচে চাপা পড়ে ঘটনাস’লেই নিহত হয় সে। তার মৃত্যুতে এলাকায় শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে।

RAJSHAHI, March 10: A man was killed and another injured when their motorbike collided head-on with a truck in front of Rajshahi Airport on Rajshahi-Naogaon Highway under Shahmukhdum Police Station Thursday, police and hospital sources said. The deceased was identified as Polash Ahmed, 22, son of Tegharia village under Durgapur Upazila of the district. Injured Nipu Hossain, 25, was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. Quoting locals, police said a sand-laden truck knocked them down while they were returning to their resident riding on motorbike around 1.30 pm.
